Spring Grove Cemetery

Tomorrow I head to Spring Grove to visit the dead people again with my photography group. This cemetery is so beautiful. I am sooooo glad that I signed up for this, I discovered after I wrote my last post that most of my cemetery photos have been lost as well. Not happy, so now I'll have to retake them...sooooo mad. At least I uploaded them to my blog, the only place I could find them. A little surprised that I didn't have them on my flickr page. Wonder why.

A Costly Mistake Revisited

Every once in a while I like to give a reminder to those of you that photograph. The photos below are a few that I was able to retrieve from my flickr page. I discovered that I failed, for whatever reason, to back these photos up. The originals are lost forever. So please take the time to backup your photos as often as possible. The only upside to this is that I discovered my mistake 2 years ago and have been backing up my photos on a regular basis ever since. I hope one day I'll be able to go back to retake them but you can never really recreate them perfectly. What are you waiting for, stop reading and go back them up. :-)

Yay For Cold Weather!

I just came in from outside after taking the little buggers out for the evening relief, I was a little amazed at how chilly it is. I have to admit that this time of year is my favorite. The smell of Fall in the air brings with it the great anticipation of fall foliage. Tonight's low temperature of 45 I know will be the beginning of the season of the changing of the leaves. Last years foliage was such a bust, we went months without any rain which puts such a damper on the fall foliage, the leaves went from green to brown. This year I just know that it will be completely different and I plan on doing some or I hope a lot of photo ops. Although I have been extremely weak as of late with posting I hope in the coming weeks that will change, keep checking back as I give you a tour of fall foliage in and around Northern Kentucky.
