The birth of my infatuation or perhaps I should say my obsession with photography began in the mid nineties. Then my main subjects were my children, since my children have left the nest for many years now my passion for photography has never faded but rather grown in a different direction. I have discovered that beauty is never ending, taking on forms that I could have never imagined. I feel blessed that my world has expanded through photography and hope my passion never weakens.

Went to the Taste of Cincinnati

Went to the Taste but it was so hot the thought of carrying my camera around was just to much. So no pictures this year, I thought as soon as I walked out of the house I would regret my decision but I didn't. Way to many people with to many chances of someone spilling something on my camera, just wasn't worth the risk. Had some good food, always a must event to attend.

Welcome to Findlay Market

Headed out to Findlay Market with the camera club that I belong to. My first time there. I was so impressed, was there just to take pictures, next time I spend money...lol

Around Findlay Market

Unfortunately around Findlay Market has so much urban decay it is really sad however, it does offer a lot of nice photo opportunities. Not that that is an upside.

Street Musicians at Findlay Market

A lot of street musicians at Findlay Market, made the experience even better. If you've never been, then this is a must place to visit in Cincinnati.

Avatar - No Not The Movie

Meet Avatar, aka The Hat Guy, we met him during the Earth Day festivities on Fountain Square, he is quite the character, I do not mean that in any derogatory way. He was a lot of fun and really enjoyed telling us stories, his favorite story was when his photo was taken with Joe the Plumber. When he showed us the photo of the two of them he just beamed from ear to ear, you could see how proud he was of that photo. I searched the flickr site to see if anyone else managed to capture Avatar and apparently his reputation of The Hat Guy has been around for a while now. Hope to see him again, will certainly stop and say hello.

Will it never end?

Well it seems that mother nature has been giving Northern Kentucky her wrath, it has been raining for days, today did turn out nice but everything is soaked, may not be until the weekend now before I get out. It's been so gloomy around here I think my dogs are depressed.
