The birth of my infatuation or perhaps I should say my obsession with photography began in the mid nineties. Then my main subjects were my children, since my children have left the nest for many years now my passion for photography has never faded but rather grown in a different direction. I have discovered that beauty is never ending, taking on forms that I could have never imagined. I feel blessed that my world has expanded through photography and hope my passion never weakens.

A Very Snowy February

We have had 3 snow storms in the past 11 days, another storm is on its way this weekend, it is a little one though. The picture is the amount of snow we have received so far, actually now that I remember I took this photo while it was still daylight, we had more snow after this photo was taken, might be time to update it, its' been so cold that it has not melted at all. This February has been the snowyest (is that how you spell it?)on record. Lucky us.

Feeding Time for the Birds

We didn't get as much snow here as the weather forecast predicted but it was still beautiful. We are expecting another storm on Tuesday, will try to take more photos then.

The Cabin

Tonight was so bright outside that I thought I would try to take a picture of our cabin. The lights in the background are from the city of Cincinnati. This was a 15 second exposure.

Another Snow Storm

Well originally from Michigan I can officially say that this is a little inconvenience of a storm. Living in Cincinnati or across from it, the storm is treated with a touch of panic. I hope that I can get some nice photos. I have to admit that living in the cabin in the woods when the snow falls is probably the most beautiful snow scenes I have ever experienced, not to mention how peaceful it is. I'll post some pictures but probably not until Saturday, which is when the bulk of the snow is suppose to hit.
