Well today didn't work out either

It was just freakin chilly today so I stayed inside, tomorrow the weather is suppose to be warmer so I'll try to get my act together and head on out.

Blah, Blah, Blah

It was such a crappy weekend and the start of the week has been just as bad, rain, rain, rain then just plain cold, tonight we have a frost warning out, hard to believe since we have already had a lot of 80 degree weather, I miss going out and taking photos, the next couple of days is suppose to be nice, maybe not so much temperature wise but as long the rain stays away I think I'll head to downtown, maybe Over-the-Rhine, they have spent a lot of money trying to revitalize the area so I think it is time to check out the improvements. Want to check out some of the new restaurants as well.

Ecosculptures Fountain Square Cincinnati Ohio

We headed down to Fountain Square this afternoon to check out the sculptures that were created with recycled materials by local artists. Some of them were quite unique while others left me with the question...what were you thinking.

Its the Weekend

Congrats for making it through another work week, it's the weekend so go out and enjoy. I think this weekend I am going to try to photograph some urban decay in and around Cincinnati and Covington, plus in celebration of the 40th Anniversary of Earth Day, local artists will install sculptures comprised of recycled materials for display at Fountain Square in Downtown Cincinnati. Should be interesting to see what they look like. As usual I will post my photos as soon as I can.

Have heard so much about this cemetery that I think it is time to go and check it out. Heading out tomorrow morning to take some photographs, it is suppose to be a great day, warm and sunny. Stay tuned.

Purple People Bridge

Although it doesn't seem to be all that purple anymore, may have to change the name to the blue people bridge, think someone should have used a non fading type of paint, if their is such a thing.

Cincinnati Reds Fireworks Friday

Well I didn't make it to the fireworks so no pictures for now. The regular schedule for the Cincinnati Fireworks Friday begins on May 14th and will take place every other Friday through August. Will plan on attending a few over the Spring & Summer so check back often.

Cincinnati Reds Fireworks Friday

Fireworks Friday begins this Wednesday...hahaha I know it not a Friday but they are doing a special fireworks display for the first night game of the season, not sure if I will make it to the first one but am going to try. They start the regular schedule on May 14th. I really do enjoy photographing fireworks, hopefully they will be a little different this year then from last years. Can't wait. Stay tuned.

Sawyer Point, Cincinnati Ohio

Happy Easter, spent the day at Sawyer Point in Cincinnati Ohio, which is only a few miles from where I live. The weather has been fantastic, maybe a little warmer then I like it but it certainly is a nice change, my side yard still hasn't dried completely from all the snow we got in February. Walked all around and just took some random shots. Had a great Easter.

The bridge below is called the Big Mac Bridge, for reasons I am sure are obvious. I've only known the bridge by this name and have absolutely no clue what the real name of the bridge is.

Barred Owl

I think that this picture is so cool, I stepped out on my front deck to find this barred owl checking me out. He wouldn't take his eyes off me, as you can tell.
