The birth of my infatuation or perhaps I should say my obsession with photography began in the mid nineties. Then my main subjects were my children, since my children have left the nest for many years now my passion for photography has never faded but rather grown in a different direction. I have discovered that beauty is never ending, taking on forms that I could have never imagined. I feel blessed that my world has expanded through photography and hope my passion never weakens.

For Kicks & Giggles

Last April I entered a photo contest that was looking for photos of the Cincinnati skyline. The winners were to be published in a charity calendar for the Ruth Lyon's Children Fund. I didn't win. After months of putting the contest behind me I received an email yesterday from the local television station wanting to use my entry photo below. Yay Me! Care to guess what month my photo will appear in? Yep July. So now that I will have a photo published does this mean I can consider myself a professional photographer? HAHAHA

I'm Back

After two weeks of being away I'm finally back. Boy is it nice to be home again. I really didn't take a lot of photos, was sooooo busy. Will post them when I download them from the camera tomorrow.

Around The Neighborhood

Established in 1957 Greene's Hamburgers is located in Farmington, MI. You've never really tasted a double cheeseburger and onion rings until you've had a Greene's. The only building in the area that has never changed.

Shiawassee Hill was some 40+ years ago the hill to sled down in the winter. Amazing how small it looks now.

Torn down this year this is where my old elementary school once stood. How sad, how very sad.
