Yay Me It's My Birthday!

Okay so this may be a little juvenile but what the heck I never said I wanted to be an adult....HAPPY BIRTHDAY ME!!!

Still Around

I know I haven't been very active in the photography part of my life but I am still alive and kickin. It is suppose to be a great weekend coming up, well sunny wise anyway, so maybe I'll get off my butt and head on out.

It is hard to believe that it has been a year since my mother's passing. So at the family picnic, which turned out extremely small this year, we decided to do a tribute to Mom. My mother had a habit of thumbing in the group pictures, even at 87 years old so we decided to have some fun and thumb her back this year. We all miss you so much but am so glad that you now with Dad and no longer suffering. Love you with all my heart.

Big Bone Lick State Park

So I decided to head out as planned to Big Bone Lick State Park. Instead of taking the most direct route I decided to take the back roads. Um not exactly one of my better ideas. I ended up making right turns when I should have made lefts and left turns when I should have made right. By the time I actually arrived at the park I was wiped out. Next time i'll take the direct route. I missed a lot of the park so next weekend weather permitting, I plan on another visit. Foliage was not impressive at all but I did manage to see a lot of animals.

I had to crop the photo heavily so it may be a bit blurry. Didn't even notice the goat at first.

Geez How The Week Goes By

It's another weekend and yet again the weather is fantastic with a hint of chilly. I was going to head out today but decided against it for two reasons, 1. Way to windy. 2. Kinda not in the mood. Tomorrow it is suppose to be in the mid 70's so I will absolutely take advantage of it. I am thinking about taking the back roads to Big Bone Lick State Park, KY. With the trees at almost peak I would hate to miss this opportunity. Stay tuned.

Out and About at Eden Park Cincinnati Ohio

Wow what an amazing day to be out exploring the city. I've been to Eden Park several times but without my camera. As you can see the fall colors are starting to explode. I'll give it another week and head back again to check out the foliage. I love this time of year and with the temperatures in the 80's why would anyone want to stay indoors.

It seems hard to believe how fast time is going. I can't believe I haven't been out with the camera in almost two weeks. The leaves are really starting to turn, the weather is just perfect so I am going to wake up in the morning and head to Eden Park for some beautiful photos of the river and Kentucky. Stay tuned.

Yep I'm a Tiger fan, have been for over 50 years. Sometimes I think I was born with a Tiger T-shirt on. I stole this photo but that little voice inside of me said to, so I had to and I always listen to that voice.
